Ever since he graced his presence with the chairmanship of the Board of Directors of the Union of Liberian Associations in the Americas, or ULAA, commonly referred as The Union, supporters of Mr. Anthony Kesselly seem not to have enough of him. Within months of stepping down as chairman of the Union Board of Directors, in keeping with the term limit of the constitution, the name Kesselly is once again on the lips of many of his supporters gearing up for what is being termed as the 2nd Coming of Anthony Kesselly, this time as President of the Union. Kesselly who made it official some times ago regarding his intentions of seeking the Union leadership promised to inject a new wave of dynamism in the organization many of its supporters referred to as the “umbrella” organization of all Liberians in the US. read more

For the past several years, Dr. Mariah Seton has been playing a supportive role in various ULAA administrations, a period many of her supporters say she used to diagnosed the various problems affecting the organization, and now they believe it is time that the good doctor herself get into the driver’s seat to lead the efforts to cure ULAA’s woos. While in its more than 30 years history, ULAA has had two female presidents, but the case of Dr. Seton is said to be a special one for which it seems to be raising a lots of eyebrows.

In every competition we always hear people say the best way to defend yourself is to always be on the offense and in politics, particular, we are told to never allow our opponent to be the first to define us to the public. In addition, one must be prepared to, as they say in the military, overwhelm his/her opponent at the very start of a campaign.
